Popular questions
Product capabilities and third-party platform rules can change. If an answer does not match what you see in your account, send us the details.
Create a giveaway from your dashboard, then work through Setup, User Details, How to Enter, Prizes, Design and Summary. Before publishing, confirm the campaign dates, eligibility, prize details, entry actions and terms. Preview the entrant experience on desktop and mobile, then publish and share the hosted link or install the embed.
Yes. You can share a hosted Promo Amp campaign page or embed the giveaway into a website. Promo Amp also includes a Shopify publishing workflow. The available publishing options can depend on your plan and campaign configuration, so test the live entrant experience before promoting it.
Check that the action requirements and destination URL are correct, then retry while signed into the intended social or third-party account. Browser privacy settings, blocked pop-ups, extensions and third-party platform restrictions can affect an action. Test in a private browser window and, if the problem remains, send support the campaign URL, action name, browser and exact steps that reproduce it.
No. Verification depends on what each social platform makes available through its current APIs and policies. Some actions can be checked directly, while others work as a visit or entrant confirmation. Platform capabilities and promotion rules can change, so review the action wording and the relevant network's current policies before launch.
Use the campaign's entrant and activity views together with the available verification, CAPTCHA, location and fraud controls. Review suspicious activity before the draw and manually invalidate or disqualify entries that do not meet your published rules. No automated system removes every risk, so clear terms and a final human review remain important.
After the campaign closes, review eligible entrants and any flagged activity first. Then use Promo Amp's winner selection tools to run the draw for the configured prizes. Keep the result and any draw recording or supporting campaign records required by your promotion rules, and follow the winner notification process described in your terms.
Campaign entrant and reporting areas provide export options such as CSV and supported connected destinations, including Google Sheets where configured. The available fields reflect the information and actions collected by that campaign. Only export and use entrant data in ways permitted by your campaign notice, consent settings and applicable privacy requirements.
Open your team's Settings and review the integration connection, credentials, selected list or destination, and recent export activity. Reconnect expired authorisation where needed, then test with a small controlled entry. Never send passwords, private API keys or full access tokens to support; screenshots should redact sensitive values.
Use Account for your personal profile and security settings. Team owners and authorised members can manage workspace settings and invitations from the relevant team area. If you cannot see a team or campaign you expect, first confirm that you signed in with the invited email address and selected the correct team.
Open the relevant team's Settings and select Billing to review the current subscription and available plan actions. Any price, timing, credit or renewal details shown during checkout should be reviewed before confirming a change. Contact support before changing a plan if an active campaign depends on a feature you are unsure about.
Confirm the hostname in Promo Amp matches the DNS record exactly, check that the required CNAME points to the supplied destination, and allow time for DNS and certificate provisioning. Remove conflicting A, AAAA or duplicate CNAME records for that hostname only when you understand their purpose. Include the hostname and a screenshot of the non-sensitive DNS records when contacting support.
Include your account email, team name, campaign URL, what you expected, what happened instead, the time of the issue, browser and device, and steps to reproduce it. A screenshot or short screen recording is often helpful. Do not send your password, payment card details, private API keys, access tokens or sensitive entrant exports.
Share the campaign URL, what you expected and what happened. We’ll use those details to understand the issue and point you to the next step.
